Head of Operational Production (m/f/d) for e-fuels and PtX plants
INERATEC’s innovative chemical reactor technology is key to the energy transition. We build chemical plants that produce synthetic fuels and sustainable synthetic products from greenhouse gases such as CO₂ and renewable electricity. Do you want to take on responsibility, actively shape structures and lead your team to success? Then take on the operational management of our shift operations, run the plant safely within the defined process window and, together with your team, ensure stable, efficient and safe operations. In doing so, you will bear organizational, technical and personnel responsibility and develop your team in a targeted manner.
Your tasks
- Overall operational responsibility for three plants and involvement in strategic operational decisions
- Disciplinary and technical leadership of the plant operator team at our innovative PtX plant, ERA ONE
- Active plant management (start/stop, trend analysis, alarm management) in accordance with the defined process window
- Ensuring operations comply with permits, regulations and legislation, including fulfilment of operator obligations
- Ensuring the safe execution of routine tasks and consistent compliance with all technical, safety, occupational health and environmental regulations
- Responsibility for structured fault management
- Analysis and monitoring of relevant KPIs, as well as the identification and implementation of improvement measures
- Promotion of a performance-oriented, safety-conscious and stable team culture
- Coaching, supporting and motivating staff
Your profile
- A degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable discipline; alternatively, a completed apprenticeship as a chemical technician (m/f/d) with further training leading to a state-certified technician/master craftsman (m/f/d) specialising in chemistry.
- Several years’ experience as a manager/shift supervisor (m/f/d) or similar in the chemical or petrochemical industry
- Structured, stable and empathetic leadership of teams in stressful situations with high demands on performance and quality; a strong hands-on approach
- Confident and respectful interaction with a highly committed team to achieve common goals
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
