The Global Cleantech 100 recognizes the world’s most innovative private companies that are making a meaningful contribution to addressing today’s most pressing climate challenges. INERATEC’s continued inclusion highlights our technological progress, successful scale-up, and tangible impact in the field of synthetic fuels.

In 2025, we reached a major milestone with the launch of ERA ONE at the Frankfurt-Höchst industrial site — currently Europe’s largest e-Fuel production plant using Power-to-Liquid technology. Producing synthetic fuels from sustainable CO₂ and renewable hydrogen, the facility demonstrates how Power-to-X technologies can be scaled and operated within existing industrial infrastructure.

INERATEC designs, builds, and operates e-Fuel production plants while also supplying the synthetic fuels they produce. Our modular systems enable the defossilization of hard-to-abate sectors such as aviation, shipping, and the chemical industry, bridging the gap between technological innovation and market-ready deployment.
