Operational buyer with focus on scheduling and deadline expediting (m/f/d)

As part of the purchasing and scheduling team, you will be in close contact with suppliers and all areas of INERATEC and help to ensure that all the cogs mesh together. ​

Your tasks

  • Ensuring a smooth supply of materials
  • Drawing up delivery schedules (milestone plans)
  • Monitoring and control of delivery dates as well as first point of contact for those responsible for orders
  • On-site expediting with suppliers, i.e. travel share (monitoring and securing deadlines)
  • Active information in case of deviations (time and budget) as well as initiation and implementation of countermeasures
  • First stage for internal and external deadline and budget escalation (supplier side)
  • Close coordination with the engineering teams as well as production and purchasing
  • Continuous further development and optimization of internal logistics
  • Daily coordination and organization/commissioning of transports

Your profile

  • Completed technical and/or commercial training
  • First professional experience in the supply chain, i.e. purchasing/disposition/logistics, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering
  • Experience in working with ERP systems, preferably SAP and common MS Office applications 
  • Strong team and communication skills 
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Independent, structured and reliable way of working 
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
