Designer Instrumentation / EMSR (m/f/d) Plant Construction
The innovative chemical reactor technology from INERATEC is a key driver for the energy transition. We build chemical plants that convert greenhouse gases such as CO₂ and renewable electricity into synthetic fuels and sustainable synthetic products.We are looking for you to join our team as a Designer Instrumentation / EMSR (m/f/d) in plant construction and operations. Your focus will be on the design, planning, and optimization of automation and control systems to ensure the efficient development and operation of our plants.
Your tasks
- Creating specifications and datasheets for instrumentation in petrochemical plants
- Planning instrumentation, control, and automation equipment, including device selection and sizing
- Specifying sensors and actuators according to P&ID and process requirements
- Specifying control and process automation systems
- Creating I/O and interface lists for sensors, actuators, and data exchange
- Calculating SIL loops and supporting safety management
- Calculating Ex-i loops
- Applying and designing gas chromatographs
- Planning, executing, and documenting software updates
- Collaborating with process engineering, plant operators, and hardware/software planning teams for instrumentation and control technology
Your profile
- Degree or technical training in electrical engineering, automation engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience as an Instrumentation Designer or EMSR Planner in the chemical or petrochemical industry
- Experience in developing automation and control concepts
- Knowledge of explosion protection (EXi, EXd, EXe) and SIL classification
- Independent, structured working style combined with high motivation and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
