Technical Project Development Manager (m/f/d) e-fuels & PtX

Your tasks
- Project development and management of PtX and PBTL e-fuels projects from the early concept phase through to the final investment decision
- Drive feasibility studies (technical, commercial, regulatory) and translate results into bankable project cases
- Lead project execution planning: timelines, milestones, risk registers, stakeholder mapping
- Own and coordinate interfaces between INERATEC internal engineering, regulatory, commercial, finance, and external partners
- Build relationships with project stakeholders (customers, authorities, utilities, EPCs, suppliers, JV partners)
- Support contract development and negotiations (EPC, OEMs, feedstock supply)
- Build robust business cases including CAPEX/OPEX assumptions, sensitivities, and scenario analysis
- Identify and secure project sites and key inputs (renewable power, CO₂ sources, permitting readiness, infrastructure)
- Actively de-risk projects by driving permitting strategy, grid connection planning, and regulatory alignment
- Ensure internal decision-making readiness and project pipeline management through clear reporting, documentation, and governance
- Contribute to the project development pipeline by supporting the quantitative and qualitative evaluation of projects
Your profile
- Completed degree in engineering, preferably in process engineering, mechanical or plant engineering, chemical sciences, or a comparable technical field
- Several years of experience in the development or execution of EPC projects in the energy, chemical, or petrochemical industries, ideally in the areas of Power-to-X, renewable energies, or sustainable fuels
- Solid knowledge of PtX value chains (hydrogen, CO₂ sourcing, SAF/e-fuels, energy markets)
- Strong commercial skills: structuring deals, negotiating contracts, designing partnerships
- Extensive network among European project developers and the PtX value chain
- Experience with permitting processes and regulatory frameworks for industrial/energy plants
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with public and private decision-makers
- Good stakeholder management and confident presence with public and private decision-makers
