e-Fuel commercialization – with INERATEC inside

INERATEC inside – our Power-to-Liquid technology is used in the e-fuel production campaign recently announced by Neste and VTT. The “Veturi e-fuels” project, running since 2021, aims for the production of sustainable fuels at a research center in Espoo, Finland. The fuel synthesis unit is embedded into a full process chain from CO₂ (coming from flue gas) and hydrogen (coming from a high-temperature electrolysis) and followed by an upgrading of the synthetic crude oil into fuels with respective specifications.

After years of cooperation in numerous research projects and successful plant operations, we are excited to see our long-standing partner VTT, bring INERATEC’s technology into application within this joint project.
